Welcome to the Illinois Medieval Association. Since 1983, IMA has promoted medieval studies in Illinois and the Midwest, hosting an annual meeting and publishing proceedings from those meetings in Essays in Medieval Studies (EMS). This site will provide updated information on the society, its officers, meetings, and EMS.

IMA--along with Depaul University, Loyola University of Chicago, Northwestern University, the University of Chicago, and the University of Illinois at Chicago--will be a host of the Medieval Academy meeting in 2009, to be held 26-28 March, 2009 at the Renaissance Chicago Hotel.

The 2010 annual IMA meeting will be hosted by Dominican University. Check back here for more details.
