7. I am preparing a separate article on the database for those who are interested in
computer-aided research on such topics as this.
8. The statistical analyses will cover such matters as the 'integrity' or 'dispersal' of the
Groups throughout the Mss. This work is being done in collaboration with Richard A. Avner, a
member of the PLATO computer system staff at the University of Illinois.
9. I plan to have the entire database and my analysis ready for publication by the end of
the year. Because these materials may be of interest to many Chaucerians who are beginning to
investigate the subject, I am making the database available without commentary to people who
wish a copy. The final cost has not yet been determined, but will be less than $5.00. Anyone who
wishes to have a copy of the database can write me at Brookens Library 391; Sangamon State

prints are ready for mailing.
